At Arkoslight, light flows through our veins. For more than three decades, time itself has borne witness to our commitment to creating an enormous range of lighting solutions. Day after day, we endeavour to bring you the best possible luminaires. Our products are meticulously researched, incorporate the cutting edge of technology, boast outstanding designs and meet the most demanding targets in terms of quality. We are the creators of the most ethereal element of your surroundings. Albeit perhaps the most unnoticed, there is no doubting its importance in making your habitat more attractive, appealing and hospitable; revealing the beauty and character of the intimate stage on which life is played out. Light has been our life since 1984… brightening the lives of those around us.

Light is an essential aspect of our lives. No-one can imagine a life in the dark. We at Arkoslight are no different. For that reason, we constantly endeavour to satisfy that most basic and fundamental of needs. We cannot think of anything more beautiful than light itself. Hence our desire for the products we create to be worthy of such beauty. If natural light is the best companion for open spaces, we want our luminaires to accompany the spaces created by Man with the same degree of harmony. Architects, designers, interior designers… our raison d’être is to create beauty together.

Our Horizon
Just as sunlight constantly pursues the unobtainable horizon, our drive towards constant and endless betterment will never falter. We have no ultimate goal because our horizon is the same today as it will be tomorrow and forever: light itself. We strive to capture its natural essence and transform it into the best human creation we are capable of producing. Because we want to accompany you and illuminate the objects around you, those that – sometimes – make all the difference.

SPIN & THOR, WINNERS OF THE ICONIC AWARDS.

These two new Arkoslight products have become the winners of one of the best design awards in the world, organized by the German Design Council.

Two new acknowledgments for Arkoslight’s product design. Spin and Thor, designed by Rubén Saldaña, have both been awarded with the Iconic Awards: Interior Innovation.

This prize, awarded by the German Design Council, is considered to be one of the most important and prestigious events in the world. The Iconic Awards are given to the best contract channel and interior design products for architecture.

Spin, the elegant and minimalist suspension piece, has convinced the jury through the beauty within its small dimensions, its essential lines and rotation geometry. Its application in accent lighting, its ultra-thin cable and the sensation of aerial float ability when it is fitted, have all been worthy of the international jury’s praise in the 2016 edition.

Thor, the LED spotlight, has also made a great impact on the chosen group of tribunal experts due to its apparently simple design that hides extraordinary luminous efficiency and optimal thermal management, only achieved with passive dissipation. Moreover, the versatility offered by its design means that, thanks to its stable centre mass, it can be fitted in any position without causing tilting when used on suspended tracks.

This new acknowledgement for Spin and Thor, reaffirm the excellence of the company’s products and become part of the 28 accolades received by Arkoslight’s luminaries in the last four years.
